Somerset Council Various Roads, Taunton in the Parish of West Monkton (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2025

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will
be to introduce the following temporary traffic restrictions as specified in the Schedules
below.

Various Roads, Taunton in the Parish of West Monkton (Temporary Traffic Restrictions)
**UPDATED INFORMATION FROM iCIVILS** New, more detailed map received, see link below. This information was sent from iCIVILS to householders on the Hartnells Farm development.
This Order will come into operation on the 10th day of July 2025 and will remain in
force for eighteen months.
The works are to be phased, as signed on site, and expected to commence on the
14th day of July 2025 until the 8th day of August 2025 (restrictions in force 24 hours a
day), to enable I-Civils Ltd to carry out resurfacing of carriageway and footpaths, weed
killing, over foliage trimming and white lining works. The restrictions will only apply
when indicated by traffic signs.
Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles.

A3259 Yallands Hill, Taunton
from a point 400 metres north from the
junction with the A3259 Western Relief

It is our intention to only close this portion of the road completely on 28th and 29th July.
