Extension of Dates – Temporary Footpath Closure:  Swingbridge, West Monkton

Please be aware that as an update to the previous notice, we have received notification of an extension of dates to a temporary road closure at Swingbridge, West Monkton  for approximately 13 metres.

The date for the works is now:  27th March 2025 – 25th October 2025 (00:00 – 23:59).

The order becomes effective on 1st May 2025 and will remain in force for six months.

The works are expected to commence on 8th May 2025 and last for 54 days to enable Walters to carry out urgent repair to Swingbridge due to failing bearing on behalf of Somerset Council.
