WMPC at National Association of Local Councils Stars Awards Finalists’ Celebration in Westminster

“Despite the fact that West Monkton Parish Council did not win the award for Climate Response of the Year, it remains that it put in place excellent work on active travel, high energy efficiency in buildings, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, among other things, and the thoroughness with which this Somerset Parish Council has integrated climate change considerations throughout its planning and strategies is an example to all in the sector. The spirit of the Star Council Awards was genuinely one where all councils nominated were already stars.”
