For over 40 years Monkton Elm as a family business has been proud to be part of the local community providing a superb range of wonderful plants, garden and home accessories and a delicious food offering.
We are constantly looking for new ways to evolve at Monkton Elm by improving our product offerings and continuing to support our local community.
During the spring this year we relocated our extensive card area to create a little more space and extend our food hall area. This was to enable us to increase the wonderful range of foods we sell to now include fresh and healthy local produce. This new Farm Shop area offers local produce from Somerset and the South-West. We are really pleased to be able to continue to support local businesses and keep money in the local economy. By encouraging local supply and demand we are able to play our role in minimising the environmental impact of transporting products great distances.
We are particularly proud to have partnered with a local farmer to provide fresh healthy organic whole milk direct into glass bottles to give you that unbeatable ‘straight from the cow’ taste. It is so much better than normal supermarket milk! We are also stocking a wide range of spirits from local small batch producers together with beers and ciders from local breweries. The farm shop receives regular deliveries of fresh bread from a local baker, and meat from a local butchery. If you are looking for ready meals, we have you covered there too! With a range of premium, frozen ready meals from Cook for 1-4 people. We also stock frozen vegetable and fruit ideal for smoothies or fruit salads and goods to bake yourself at home such as cookies, croissants, and pastries.
Why not pop into Monkton Elm Farm Shop this week and see if you can tempt you with some of these delicious products! You will find us on the A3259 at Monkton Heathfield, about 100 yards from the junction with the A38.
