80-something Tom, whose wife has just passed away, uses his free bus pass to travel from John O’Groats to Lands End where they first met, using only local buses. It’s a nostalgic trip, but he’s also carrying his wife’s ashes in a small suitcase, `taking her back’. In the

course of his travels he interacts with local people, and by the end of his trip he has become a celebrity.
