Increase in Graffiti across the Parish

Unfortunately, as in so many other parts of Taunton, our Parish is being blighted by an increase in graffiti and many of you have contacted us to report incidents and ask what can be done. Liaising as always with our partners at Avon and Somerset Police, we have been offered the following advice for residents:

• We would on every occasion request that these incidents are reported to us.

• If someone witnesses an incident of graffiti “criminal damage” then this can be reported via 999 if it is damage to property ongoing.

• We will not advocate members of the public confronting an individual/group, however if the member of the public feels safe enough, they can take photos/record on phone etc. That would be their choice to make at the time.
