As you may have noticed the travellers have set up camp again near the roundabout.  We have informed both the police and the developers who own the land, and they will be looking to secure the site again in the next few days.

Each time these people visit our neighbourhood they leave behind a fair amount of rubbish.  Much of what they dump here is what they gather from local households either from gardening and tree work or just offering to clear away rubbish.  These people are not legally registered to collect, transport and properly dispose of waste.  So please do not be tempted to accept their offers to do any work for you however attractive their prices seem.  Any dumped waste could be tracked back to you and you may be held responsible for its removal.  If they are unable to secure work in the area they will hopefully move on and be less likely to return.
