What is your main responsibility?
As the only council member currently living on a ‘new’ development, I see my primary role as that of representative for all those residents on the Heathfield estates, whether owner/occupiers, private renters or social housing tenants. As a member (along with my wife Maggie) of the volunteer litter picking group, I can be found out and about somewhere in the village every day so, if you have something you want to discuss, please stop us for a chat.

What is the most rewarding aspect of being in your role at WMPC?
Apart from being part of a dedicated team of people, working hard to overcome the challenges being faced by the inevitable devolution of services down to Parish Council level, it is knowing that I am providing a visible Council presence on the streets for people to approach.

What has surprised you the most about being part of the WMPC team?
What has surprised me most as a relatively new Parish Councillor is realising how much work needs to be done to achieve our vision, and just how many walls there are to climb over, hoops to jump through and red tape to cut to achieve the end goal!
