Developers propose removing Trees with Preservation Orders on Monkton Heathfield Development
Please, please take the time to comment on their proposal and spread this message far and wide, only by voicing a strong objection will we have any chance of stopping this.
Help stop the developers putting profits before our precious wildlife.
Persimmon and Redrow homes want to cut down up to 8 mature trees as part of their proposed 1450 home Monkton Heathfield phase 2 development. At least 6 of the trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them, three are mature oaks that must be over 100 years old . The trees are important habitat for rare and endangered bats that the developers own ecological surveys have identified in the area. Please help to save these trees.
