As you will all be aware, we have had some issues with graffiti over the last month or so and both the local PCSOs and West Monkton Parish Council have been doing their best to get on top of it.

PCSO Steve Chapman became aware of one youngster who was responsible for some on the graffiti and organised a community resolution with us for the young person to paint the fence running alongside West Monkton Primary School and this is due to be completed this half term.  The young person has also written letters of apology to the Parish Council and the community.

The Parish Councillors and some Community Volunteers have cleaned the signage, bus stops and other areas which have been damaged by graffiti and have given a large amount of time to this.  We are aware that there is still more to get cleaned up and are in the process of organising this as it is a much more difficult task on brickwork.

We would like to thank those who helped us clean up the parish and continue to give their time freely to improve the lives of those that live here.
