More Graffiti Removal Volunteering – thank you so much
West Monkton Parish Council would like to take a further opportunity to recognise the efforts of three local volunteers who took it upon themselves to deal with a second bout of graffiti on that fence by the path running from the Community Fridge down to the Hardy’s Road development. It took them 6 hours and they paid for the materials upfront out of their own pocket. The volunteers used a Cuprinol fence paint which covers well and which contains a wax, making it difficult to paint on once dry.
The Parish Council is developing a risk assessment for approval at the end of July meeting which will mean that volunteers can remove graffiti and the PC can reimburse for the cost of doing so and purchase equipment for them too.
We are truly lucky to have active volunteers like this in our community.
