Earlier this year we asked for some suggestions for the green triangle near The Street at West Monkton as these was some funding to support this. Dawn Watts and her son put together a plan to keep the area as wild and natural as possible and now wild flower plug plants have been planted with the help of some of their neighbours. Dawn is looking to purchase some yellow rattle in the Autumn to add to the plugs. We are looking to tidy up the worn bench there and when the plugs grow I am sure this will make a positive difference to this area. So well done to Dawn and neighbours, we are all looking forward to seeing it in full bloom!
