It’s that time of year when the RSPB hold their annual BIG SCHOOLS’ BIRDWATCH, and to encourage local families to chart which birds visit our parish, we’re launching a competition where children can complete the simple birdwatch survey and win prizes funded by West Monkton Parish Council.

✅ Do your Birdwatch: Find a place where the children can watch the birds without much disturbance and use the simple survey sheet to record what they see
✅ Email a photo of your survey sheet to plantingcompwmpc@gmail.com with the name of your child/ children and winners of the bird boxes and books will be drawn at random.
✅ Closing date for entries = 6th February
✅ Prize Giving = week commencing 14th February
✅ We’ll collate all the survey results and return the information to the RSPB
