Pens at the ready, the TMAC annual creative writing competition is back!

Write in any genre: prose, poetry, script, a confession, a love letter, a list… Be bold, be imaginative, but contain your entry to just one side of A4. An esteemed panel will be looking for something that dares to be different and most importantly something that comes to life when it is read aloud.

Multiple prizes are available with the Somerset Prize (for Somerset based entries only) and the Open Prize winners both receiving £100. There will be three Somerset Under 18s prizes of £25 and another Open Under 18s prize of £25. This year, under 18’s are asked to respond to the stimuli ‘Where do we go from here?’

The Page is Printed 2021: Celebration Evening takes place on Sat 23 Oct, 7:30m and all entrants are entitled to a free ticket to attend. There will be a special ‘Best on the Night’ prize of £25 awarded at the

Celebration Evening. This prize does not need to be a competition entry and will be open to any readers of their work at the event.
